Assessing the skin and qualifying for the treatment
We cover running a consultation, recognising the skin's needs and judging indications and contraindications. You also learn to recognise situations in which the treatment should be postponed, given up, or the client referred to the right specialist.
Choosing the treatment and planning treatments
I explain what to be guided by when choosing parameters, preparations and the way of working. You learn to take the skin's condition into account, observe its reactions and talk about realistic expectations of the results.
The full procedure in practice
We go through preparing the treatment station and the skin, the rules of hygiene, handling the device and the technique of working.
First I perform a demonstration treatment, explaining each stage. Then you perform a full treatment under my supervision. There is time for questions, tips and a discussion of your work.
Post-treatment care and communication with the client
We cover finishing the treatment, home-care recommendations and observing the skin in the following days. I show you how to pass on information in a way the client understands, so she knows how to proceed and when to come back for help.
I match the scope and pace of the training to your background. If you already perform microneedling, we can put more emphasis on analysing your technique and the topics you find difficult.
